Week 1 - Understanding 'Fake News' and Information Literacy
This module will orient the students on the online course and will provide a backdrop on 'fake news' and information literacy.
Week 2 - Identifying, Accessing, and Evaluating Information
This module will provide students the different competencies of Information Literacy.
Week 3 - Becoming Information Literate with the Rise of ‘Fake News’
This module will provide the students with the ethical practices in the use of information and lesson synthesis on how to mitigate the spread 'fake news'.
This is the final module of the course, which will be the summative assessment that covers all the lessons discussed.
To begin, I recommend taking a few minutes to explore the course site. Review the modules we will cover each week, and preview the assessments you need to complete to pass the course. Remember that you have to take or complete the lesson modules and quizzes in chronological order.
Make sure that you update your full name on your My Profile under settings > general and click save. This will be the data that will appear on your Course Certificate.
